Ann Pearl McMinn Fabre, 100, of Bradenton, Florida was born July 14, 1917 to Lytle Edward McMinn and Sallie Mae McClung McMinn in Pittsburg, Texas and passed away July 28, 2017 at Blake Medical Center after a brief illness. She celebrated her 100th birthday with 98 of her closest friends/family the weekend prior and unbeknownst to all was attending her own "celebration of life".
Mrs. Fabre attended Charity Hospital School of Nursing and was an Emergency Department nurse most of her life. She was the Director of the Emergency Room at Blake for many years and instrumental in educating the paramedics in the 70's and 80's. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and genealogy was her passion.
She is survived by her sons: Stephen and wife Myrtis Fabre (Norco,LA) and Kenneth and wife Myrna Fabre (New Iberia,LA); daughter: Sue Fabre (Bradenton,FL); son-in-law: LarrySutton (Markham,Ont); grandchildren: Stephen Sutton, Anne Norcia, Laura Sutton, Michael Fabre (Michelle), Jill Zeringue (Craig), Kim St Amant (Zoo), Renee Coffland (Frank), Erin Robison (Wess), Ali Mullen, Michael Mullen, Remy Mullen; great grandchildren: Aimee Norcia, Caleb, Gabe and Paris Fabre, Cody, Cali and Collin Zeringue, Hannah and Luke St Amant, Carson, Kiley, Case and Kinzey Coffland, John Parker and Tripp Robison.
She was preceeded in death by: her parents, husband Emile Arthur, daughter Carolyn Ann Sutton, brothers: Leland, Otis, Clyde, Merrill, Lytle, Harry; Sisters: Lois Boone and Stella Martin.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Camp County.
